Another item has been left on the pontoon at Calstock.
This creates an obstruction and a safety hazard for river users on the Tamar and must be removed as a matter of urgency.
If the Parish Council is forced to remove it, the cost ultimately falls to local taxpayers unless the owner can be identified and the costs recovered.
We ask all residents and river users to act responsibly and ensure that no items are left on parish managed land or moorings, unless they are permitted to do so. Any permitted items must be kept in good condition and insured, including cover for salvage.
