The role of a parish councillor is varied and there is something of interest for everyone. Some of the things we do include: managing recreation grounds, cemeteries, open spaces, allotments, moorings, playground equipment, toilets and car parks. We try to make a difference to our local environment: supporting more wildlife. We make decisions on how to spend public money fairly; we campaign for safer roads; and we give feedback on planning applications. Whatever your interest or skills set, there will be something for you.
If you are interested, we invite you to attend our Council Meeting on: Tuesday 10 June 2025, at 1900 in the Tamar Valley Centre, Drakewalls, PL18 9FE.
