Tamar Valley Twinning Association and Calstock Parish are twinning with Petrykivka in Ukraine. We would like to support Petrykivka by sending Christmas shoeboxes filled with items that Children urgently need and with some treats as well.
Jim Wakem (Chairman of our Parish Council) and Andrew Morton (from Calstock) will be joining the next convoy Sending Love To Ukraine on 17th November 2024. In Warsaw they will be meeting with representatives from Petrykivka to sign the twinning document and show our continued support. They would like to deliver these boxes on this trip. We will also discuss how, as a community, we can share each other’s culture through music, food, art and sport.
